Takatuka Songs

Five songs for singing along to

Songs for the loud part of the day. Ice cream, climbing, running out of bed before anyone says it is time.

Sing them in the car, in the bath, or standing on the sofa.

  1. A song about the best thing in a cone, sung the way a small person actually feels about it.

    0:58
  2. Little Monkey

For the one who climbs everything. Bouncy, cheeky, impossible to sit still to.

    1:45
  3. The morning song. Nothing planned, everything possible, and no reason to come inside.

    1:51
  4. Time to Run Out of Bed

Feet on the floor before the sentence is finished. The opposite of a lullaby, on purpose.

    1:31
  5. Takatuka Land

The big one. The whole dream world in one song, with the rainbow bridge in the chorus.

The Rainbow-Lemonade Adventure

A bedtime story in three parts, with two songs inside it

The Goodnight Star has lost its bedtime sparkle. To help it, Tako and the little dream traveller must gather three gentle things: one giggle, one soft marshmallow, and one sleepy wish.

Listen from the beginning, or read along while it plays. It ends the way a bedtime story should.

  1. The bell rings, the blanket becomes a boat, and Tako has a very small problem with a star.

    5:43
  2. The walking song. Ukulele, hand claps, and a bridge that answers in six colours.

    1:55
  3. A grove that forgot what was funny, a sneeze that fixed it, and a marshmallow that will not be grabbed.

    5:33
  4. The lullaby in the middle of the adventure. Music box, soft piano, and a hand to hold.

    2:55
  5. The unicorn bench, a wish said out loud, and a little star that remembers how to shine.

    5:35

There is one more song than the story lets on.
